  2. Lisa Manuels says:

    Hello!

I’m an illustrator. :) I also own a little shop in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) full of handmade stuff. I find my craft supplies in local art/craft shops & on the Internet (some Etsy shops).

    Good luck with the project!

    Lisa

  3. Hi,
I get most of my supplies at local craft stores or as gifts.
I use watercolor paints and paper, drawing paper, and colored pencils most often.
I am a graphic designer and painter, but I have done some illustrations.

    Good luck on the project!

  4. Garilyn says:

I mostly sew and quilt. Most of my items come from local stores or online co-ops. I mostly buy fabric, trimmings, thread, and patterns. I would say that 99% of the patterns I buy come from wahms and I purchase those online.

  5. Kristy says:

I am a craft supplier, I have my own stamp company. I am also the designer/illustrator for all of our designs :)

  6. Karen says:

    Hi!
I am a supplier of glass & gemstone beads & findings (specializing in Czech glass beads) with a shop on etsy.
    Have fun with your project!

  7. Hi girls! I am not a craft supplier. I keep craft suppliers in business. I shop a lot at JoAnn’s, Michael’s, and Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby is my favorite.
I buy fabric at local quilt stores and scrapbook paper at Archiver’s. Sometimes October Afternoon gives me paper. No question, it is where all my spending money goes!

  8. Gina says:

I’m an illustrator/ painter. Buy paint the most. Then canvas, wood panels, paper next.

  9. I’ve just set up on Etsy, where I’m selling craft supplies. I also craft and like to use found items or items that I buy from secondhand shops.

I’m not an illustrator, the only things i can draw are rabbits, which i do quite a bit, but mostly for my own entertainment.

  10. Geri says:

I’m a designer/illustrator/lover of paper. I have an Etsy shop & the supplies that I purchase the most are paper & inks. I get all of my paper from Neenah Paper, my inks from Staples, decorative papers & fabrics from my local shops (as well as on my travels or wherever I can get my hands on them!) & all of the fun ephemera (washi tape, Divine Twine, etc), I get on Etsy!

  11. kerry says:

  13. @kerry – I buy at Michaels and Hobby Lobby usually.

I have needed custom rubber stamps in the past, and I have used http://www.villageimpressions.com/ Anna-Mae was excellent to work with.

  14. Wren says:

I am a craft supplier- I make hand dyed yarn. I honestly don’t buy a whole lot of craft supplies since the main thing I do is knit and I can make my own yarn for that! Aside from yarn, I do use and buy fabric, sewing, and embroidery supplies. I don’t buy from a specific supplier, though I do like to get things in the Vintage section on Etsy or from different supply shops there. Oh, and I’m definitely not an illustrator!

  15. Christina P says:

I am not a craft supplier.
I buy my supplies mostly from Hobby Lobby, from TopHatter auctions although I’m “on a break” from TopHatter right now (I got screwed and I’m still upset about it), and garage sales.
I am a graphic designer but not really an Illustrator.
I create a little bit of everything, I paint with acrylics the most, and then I craft jewelry and hair accessories.

  16. Are you a craft supplier? – YES of hand painted, dishwasher safe glassware.

Who is your favorite craft supplier? A.C. Moore, Michaels & JoAnn Fabrics.

Which supplies do you buy most often? Paint, brushes and ribbon

Are you an illustrator? To a certain extent yes.

  17. kerry says:

If you responded as a craft supplier or illustrator I will be getting in touch with you in the next couple of weeks.

    Thanks again for your comments!!!

Yes I illustrate too . I haven’t added any illustrations to my shop yet. But I plan to eventually.
Good luck with the project, Kerry + Jordan :)

  19. Jenn says:

Just a blogger with a deep appreciation for all of you talented crafters, artists and entrepreneurs!

  20. Carol says:

We are not a supplier. We sell coastal decor.

Most of our supplies we buy locally from Michaels, AC Moore, Joanne’s Fabrics, Home Depot.

We buy approximately 25% of our other supplies online. These items we usually can’t find locally or can find a better variety online at a better price.

We mostly buy paint, primer, sealer, fabric, ribbon and adhesives.

  21. AnneMarie says:

Hope I’m not too late !
I am a quiller and I sell my craft in fairs and on Etsy.
I buy 75% of my quillling paper online through Whimsiquills and Quilled Creations.
Taking this opportunity to thank you for all your precious tips and insights.
Merci and good look with your project.
